The Client
Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity helps families build and improve places to call home. Its ReStore, located in Newington, NH, is a retail outlet for gently used home improvement items, and its sales help support Habitat’s work in the community.
The Challenge
The organization needed two distinct but connected websites: one to serve as the information hub for the Habitat chapter, and one for the ReStore, where shoppers and donors look for store information and how to donate. Like many nonprofits, the team needed sites that were easy to keep current without a big technical staff.
The Work
- WordPress websites for both senhhabitat.org and nhrestore.org
- Clear navigation for volunteers, donors, homeowners and shoppers
- Ongoing updates and content changes as programs, events and store information change
- Careful maintenance, with backups taken before live changes
Like every Thirst Productions project, this one was handled directly by me, Rich Collins, as the client’s primary contact and lead developer.
